Instead of directing his soft porn movie, In-gi talks heatedly about the film scenario he is working on. There he meets another college friend, Myung-joon, who is now a famous director.Through Myung-joon, In-gi is introduced to the love of his life, Yeo-kyung, a struggling screenwriter. From this day onward, In-gi delights in finding the things they have in common - from their affinity to banana-flavored milk and forgotten comic book characters. In-gi is fueled by his love for Yeo-kyung to make a masterpiece.
Yeo-kyung is also emboldened by In-gi's affections and decides to become a true writer. They begin to collaborate on a story about the love between a circus clown and the daughter of the circus troupe director. Their characters begin to come to life and a true masterpiece is in the making.
